Utilising my standardised modular go-kit plan centered around a specific size case
Copying the idea of the DMR radio box, I 3D printed an insert for the standard box which holds the screen upwards and the radio just below. The rear of this radio faces the cut out section of the panel allowing access to the power and antenna connectors.
In addition to the mounted radio, this kit also has space for an HT as a backup.

This is an insert for the Dave 235-D case.
- Display has a nice friction fit and sits comfortably almost flush
- Holes in the back for mounting bolts, I used 3D printed ones because I couldn't find M2.6 bolts anywhere.
- Built in mounts for the radio
